No surprise: Bama starts season atop USAToday Coaches Poll

The USA Today's preseason coaches' poll is out, and it's no great shock to see the Alabama Crimson Tide picked to repeat as National Champions. Why Ohio State continues to get preseason love is beyond me, but at least Southern Cal is nowhere to be found.  Wait?  What?  No Men of Troy in the preseason Top 25?

Five other  teams from the SEC made the first poll: Florida, LSU, Arkansas, Georgia and Auburn.  I frankly think LSU is overrated even at 16, and Auburn is completely dissed at 23. Gene Chizik has silenced his critics and is building an impressive program.  I'd have them somewhere between 11 and 15.
