Continued: Project Veritas drops another BOMB on CNN

"The most trusted name in news..." can be trusted to pick winners and losers in the Democrat debates. If you're a Democrat and you're undecided still on who to support for the 2020 nomination for President, you will don't have to watch the debate tonight. CNN has already decided who the winners and losers will be.

Project Veritas and James O'Keefe plan to continue dropping the bombs on the network all week.
It won't matter if one or two of the candidates currently drawing single digit support can carefully articulate a policy position you like. It won't matter if it has the legs to really move the discussion. CNN has already decided that it's a loser because Zucker likes someone else better.

It's not like CNN has much credibility left to trash. Remember, this is the network that in 2017 ran a bogus story based on one unnamed source claiming Trump pal Anthony Scaramucci was to be indicted for his ties to a Russian investment fund. The network ended up retracting the story and the three "journalists" were sacrificial scapegoats. They also claimed they had evidence that Donald Trump Jr. had been offered advance access to hacked Democratic emails in Wikileaks' possession. Also false, but this one dirtied MSNBC and Dirty Dan Rather's old outfit, CBS News.

Oh... guess who's televising the debate tonight?

And so it begins... Project Veritas drops first chunk of secretly recorded CNN video

It looks like James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas operation are going to slow-drip this expose' of CNN's inability to behave like "the most trusted name in news." We're in for a little bit over time. If the PV folks are being truthful about the sheer volume of material like this, we could be in for a long popcorn munch.
The Project Veritas website has been suffering from yo-yo-itis due to the crush of visitors so I had to crawl into the sewer that is Twitter to get this for you.

This really couldn't come at a worse time for CNN. They and MSNBC are struggling to beat Fox News in prime time together. With the fiasco of the Mueller Report failure blown up in their faces, their credibility needs a boost, not a bust.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

Rick Sanchez fired at CNN: What the hell took so long?

The news broke last night—Rick Sanchez finally lost his CNN gig after calling Jon Steward a “bigot” and claiming that CNN was run by Jews.  Sanchez’ latest gaffetastic gaffe is the last of a very, very long list of WTF moments on the air.

Here’s just a brief rundown of stupidity, and just a brief snapshot of why absolutely no one in this country cares about “the most trusted name in news:”

Biased, liberal media conglomerate ends ties with other biased, liberal media conglomerate.

They all parrot the same nonsense, so having one parroting the other's nonsense redundantly made it easy to control the signal-to-noise ratio.  Now though, CNN will use it's own news gathering  manufacturing department and ditch the Associated Press (via Breitbart):

US television news network CNN said Monday it was dropping the US news agency the Associated Press as it expands its own newsgathering efforts.

"We will no longer use AP materials or services," Jim Walton, the president of CNN Worldwide, said in a memo to CNN staff obtained by Agence France-Presse.

Walton said the move was "an important next step in the content-ownership process we began in 2007 to more fully leverage CNN's global newsgathering investments.

"Starting today, CNN newsgathering will be the primary source of all content for all of our platforms and services," he said. "The content we offer will be distinctive, compelling and, I am proud to say, our own."

What all this means is simply this:  When the mainstream either media breathlessly reports strong employment figures or bemoans the figures' dropping "unexpectedly," we'll get to see it twice.  There is no word as to whether CNN or Associated Press will drop the media's favorite adverb.

Extra Point:  CNN's viewership has been tanking, and tanking badly.  Execs at the one-time powerhouse of cable news could likely be making this decision based on economics, not "content ownership."  The latter is a useful meme, but dropping a very pricey subscription only helps the bottom line.

Gimme some feedback in the comments.
