No need for a playoff system for this group. Don’t expect an at-large bid to The Foreman Forklift Bowl for them, either. These teams will have plenty of time to study for finals, as their chances of going Bowling will be over before the leaves change colors.

Fun read from Danny Sheridan, USA Today oddsmaker and controversial keeper of the bagman identity.

I can't say I disagree with any of his selections, including the two from the SEC--Kentucky and Ole Miss. Those two programs will be underdogs in every conference game they play in 2012.

Kentucky did score a major upset in 2011 by beating Tennessee, but that's not likely to happen this fall.
