Houston Nutt left Ole Miss' Freeze with academic "mountains to climb"

In early December, Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze inherited a train wreck academically. It's a big concern to Freeze, one that could lead to several players missing all or parts of spring practice to concentrate on academics.

Freeze admitted on Saturday, "Some have hills to climb, some have mountains to climb.  I've been pleased about the things that we can control...the attendance, tutoring attendance.  I don't have a lot of control over their success or not."

How many players are not meeting academic expectations?  "I consider four to be mountains.  About sixteen hills."
