Alternate headline: Man defends family using weapon that gun grabbers say he doesn't need. CNN covered this, so kudos to them. Don't expect this to get much more press, though.
This is a tragic incident that goes on far too often. The dead robbers are a 15-year old and two 16-year olds. The youngest and one other were brothers, so a mother has two dead sons to bury and grieve, and the homeowner has the rest of his life to remember the night he was left with no options.
Pray for them all.
Towards the end of the video, friends of the would-be robbers complain that killing them was too much. Really?
Approaching someone in their own yard at about 4:00 am and firing first is too much. Shooting to kill is an about as appropriate as it gets.
If any of the 10 people on the Democratic Presidential Debate stage last week are elected President, this man's right to own the weapon he used in self defense will be in jeopardy.
