Bits Blog: Member of Anonymous Takes Credit for Go Daddy Attack
Published on NYT Home Page | shared via feedly
A member of Anonymous, the loose hacking collective, claimed responsibility for an attack that apparently brought down Web sites hosted by Go Daddy. The company's site was down Monday afternoon, as were many of the Web sites hosted on its servers.
This site is affected. Temporarily, we are now hosted on Google's blogspot service. Don't change your bookmarks because as soon as service is restored, we'll move back to the custom domain.
If I saw someone aiming a Glock semi-automatic .45 at the head of the Anonymous hacker group, I wouldn't call 911 until after the lead flew.
Just sayin.
