American soccer player DaMarcus Beasley, who plays for Puebla in Mexican Football Federation, reported via his Twitter account that Mexican law enforcement officials had stormed and seized control of the club’s stadium, locker rooms and equipment.
Fox Sports has confirmed the report.

The Fox Sports report indicates that officials seized the stadium facilities to settle a 14 million peso tax debt. When Beasley first reported the incident on Twitter, the social media network erupted in speculation.
