Who let the fans into the press conference?
Watch as John Surma, Penn State University Board of Trustees Vice Chairman, announces first that President Graham Spanier, then Coach Joe Paterno, had been dismissed. As the announcement is made, a very audible collective expression of shock comes from the floor.
Given the gravity and of the occasion it’s understanding, but note that as the press conference goes on it’s difficult to tell the press from the fans. This is a 22 minute-long video, but if you’ve got the time and a fresh cup, watch the whole thing.
It does get quite testy in the last three to four minutes, and it’s clear that the questions are coming from fans.
