Here we go again. According to various media and internet sources, LSU fans have mysteriously discovered and begun disseminating the cell phone numbers of several key Alabama players, including Trent Richardson, AJ McCarron and even Terry Saban, the Coach’s wife.
This isn’t the first time the corndog nation has attempted such a stunt. You may recall that the phone numbers of Bama players were compromised in 2008 and again in 2009 (as were the numbers of Florida’s Tim Tebow and Georgia’s Knowshon Moreno).
Former Alabama Quarterback John Parker Wilson was one of the targets of the 2008 episode. Following a fourth quarter touchdown pass, Wilson immediately turned around and pretended to “chat up” the LSU faithful, drawing a flag but making the point nonetheless:
“Don’t call us. We’ll call you. K Thanks Bye.”
