Nuss Bus to Hattiesburg?

Report: Alabama offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier expected to interview at Southern Miss

Alabama offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier is expected to interview for Southern Miss' head coaching job, according to a report today in the Hattiesburg American.

The pool of candidates, all of whom are offensive coordinators, includes North Carolina's Blake Anderson, Texas Tech's Neal Brown and Oklahoma State's Todd Monken, according to the report.
There were also reports earlier this week that former Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino was on the board in Hattiesburg, but that appears to have either gone away or fallen apart.

Southern Miss is not a bad gig. It's a Conference USA school with decent facilities and a loyal fanbase. Larry Fedora parlayed success there into his current gig at North Carolina.
