Here is the controversial Texas TD vs. Oklahoma State from last Saturday (VIDEO)

It sure looks like Texas got away with one, y’all. The ball appears to come out before it crosses the plane, and an Oklahoma State defender eventually comes up with the ball.

According to the Oklahoman, Big 12 head of officials Walt Anderson called ‘Pokes coach Mike Gundy and “apologized profusely” for the blown call.

However, on Wednesday the official Big 12 Twitter account had this tweet in response to the Oklahoman’s report:

imageSo now we have an official controversy.

Look, SEC fans can appreciate the frustration of Gundy, the Cowboys and ‘Pokes fans. We’ve seen our share of referee atrocity through the years. But every day we thank heaven that we don’t get our games called by Big 12 officials.

Not kidding.
