Texas Tech has dismissed linebacker Daniel Cobb from the team after he was arrested and charged with felony burglary.
Red Raiders spokesman Blayne Beal said Tuesday that Cobb was dismissed for violating unspecified team rules.
Online records show the junior from Killeen Ellison was arrested Sunday and charged with burglary of a habitation. Conviction of the second-degree felony is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Boom.
