Sgt. First Class C.J. Sadell was in the Arif Kala region of Afghanistan when his unit was ambushed by Taliban insurgents. Five were KIA; Sadell was badly injured and later died of his injuries.
Weston brought their son home to bury him with the honor and dignity befitting a fallen hero, and made sure that the hateful Westboro gang couldn’t disrupt it.
