Absolutely blistering. While Thune is clearly playing to the base and trying to maintain the momentum of GOP enthusiasm, this should cause some of the mushy, middle-of-the-road undecideds to give pause before reelecting Democrats.
However, I differ in the “science project” metaphor.
Obama wasn’t a science experiment. He was an experiment in how effective the media can be in getting an empty suit elected President.
