Woman in swimsuit steals tractor; snake still missing

I don’t get the snake thing.  But thank God they caught the swimsuit “babe” who stole the tractor from the Sumiton, Alabama carwash.  She looks kinda butch to me (not that there’s anything wrong with that), but beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, you know.

image SUMITON — Sumiton police have not located the missing snake yet, but following a two-hour search Wednesday, officers recovered a tractor stolen from the street department earlier in the day.

Tiffany Olivia Rhodes of Sumiton is facing first-degree theft charges after being arrested for stealing the city equipment.

A witness alerted the police around 12:30 p.m. of a white female with short black hair in a bathing suit taking the tractor from the Sumiton Car Wash at the intersection of U.S. 78 and Old Warrior Road.

The search ended when an employee of the car wash notified the department that Rhodes was at her home on Old Warrior Road.

Police then took Rhodes into custody and she led officers Chris Daughtery and Patrick Ragsdale to the tractor’s location on Bibby Brickyard Road in Jefferson County.

I blame the bad economy for the tractor theft.  But having a snake on the loose must be Bush’s fault.

I blogged about the snake. Here is the link to the post, where I linked the stories I could find related to it. http://southernlikethat.blogspot.com/2010/09/i-bet-theyre-not-having-this-much-fun.html

Gotta love Walker County!
