I wonder how many of Hollywood's conservative class are just like James Caan. You know, strongly right of center, but weren't really ready to express their political views until Obama, Democrats and the ruling class elite fell into public disfavor. Maybe Hollywood's worrying about its drawing power when its "stars" continually spew support for a bunch of treasury looters and power seekers, while polls show more and more Americans are fed up with the whole bunch. Maybe some of those who've been in hiding for so long feel is safer to come out.
Maybe we haven't completely lost pop culture, after all.
Veteran actor James Caan let people in on a little secret last week. After 46 successful years among Hollywood’s most outspoken liberal stars, he’s speaking up about breaking the mold.
“I'm an ultra conservative,” he said at Moet & Chandon’s 6th Annual Hollyshorts Film Festival Opening Night Celebration in Los Angeles.
“I'm not a G** damn Hollywood liberal, I'm not,” he said, adding he only watches Fox News.
Awesomely awesome. Sonny Corleone is a friend of Fox News. I hope it's not long before Sean Hannity gets him on the Great American Panel. It would be fun to watch him Sonny whack Bob Beckel or Juan Williams for shamelessly defending the regime's recklessness and excess.
